What's new at Filter Tech of Georgia?

Filter Tech of Georgia, Inc. becomes exclusive Georgia distributor of WaterRight® Water Treatment Systems.

Tyrone, Georgia - Filter Tech announces the addition of WaterRight Treatment Systems to its stable of high quality water filtration products.  Water-Right is a Wisconsin based company incorporated in 1963 as a manufacturer of multi-application water equipment.  As a company, Water-right is focused on manufacturing a single piece of equipment that handles multiple water problem areas.  Water-Right's strength lays in its patented Crystal-Right™ silica crystals.  "The 'zeolite' crystals provide better filtration and superior removal of hardness, iron and manganese while raising pH levels of acidic water.  In addition, the crystal media backwashes more thoroughly than ordinary resins."  Water-Right's systems offer single-pass systems that cover multiple problem areas where expensive multiple-stage systems are almost always required.
The addition of Water-Right’s equipment follows Filter Tech’s philosophy of using the best-quality, most economical method of approaching a water application.  “In the past, Filter Tech has designed  and built multi-stage systems to handle difficult water problems.    The Water-Right systems now allows the treatment of difficult water problems in most cases with just one system, chemical free,” says Billy Lasiter.  “Water-Right opens the doors to tremendous opportunities for Filter Tech dealers.  The key is using the best equipment available for the specific water problem.
Depend on Filter Tech of Georgia and Water Right to solve your most difficult water problems.... a winning combination!
Filter Tech of Georgia plans to offer Water-Right® equipment in July, 2001.

Filter Tech of Georgia, Inc. becomes the master distributor of Dosatron® chemical feed systems in Georgia

Dosatron is a non-electric chemical feed pump whose use fits perfectly in areas where electricity is not available for injecting chemicals into the water line.  The company's product dates back to the French countryside in 1973.  A French veterinarian developed a pump to inject medicine into the water of the local farmer's sick herd. The vetrinarian's brothers picked up the idea of the non-electric feed pump and developed an international company manufacturing the sophisticated pumps for industries requiring efficient injection of chemicals.  Dosatron opened an office in The United States in 1986 and has since expanded to over 100 nations.
There are many advantages to the Dosatron chemical feed system.  First and foremost, the pump does not require electricity since water pressure is its only power source.  It is designed to be fitted directly onto the water line which allows the chemical feed system to be placed anywhere, including barns, poultry houses and  well houses.  It is also unaffected by power outages and lightening strikes.  Second, chemicals are drawn into the pump and mixed with water internally during the pumping process, so venturi injectors are no longer necessary.  Finally, the amount of concentrate is directly proportional to the volume of water entering the pump, regardless of variations in flow or pressure which may occur in the main line.  The Dositron works only when the water runs, no switches or control boxes needed.  Also, all models of the Dostron offer external ratio adjustments for customizing the flow of chemical.
Dosatron chemical feed systems are currently available through your Filter Tech of Georgia dealers.

Filter Tech Sponsors first running team...

If you find yourself watching The Peachtree Road Race either on TV or live in Buckhead, look carefully for the Filter Tech of Georgia logo.  There will be two runners wearing the logo on specially designed sweat-wicking t-shirts.  The runners are none other than Billy's own twin sons, Mark and Chris.  Chris is an avid international runner with a total of FOUR marathons under his belt.  This will be his sixth Peachtree in the last three decades.  Mark is also a recreational runner who hopes just to finish!  Don't expect either of these guys to have a chance at winning, but they are both seeded in the first time group behind the invited and sub-seeded runners.
